The Clutch and brake levers are adjustable on the VFR.
However, my hands are too small at the closest setting to comfortably
operate the clutch. |

Removing about 1/8 of an inch of material from the clevis at the
adjuster pivot allowed the lever to be adjusted another 3/4 of on inch
closer to the bar. There is no fear of the clutch not operating. The hydraulic clutch release mechanism means there is no slack in the system. The clutch still releases in the first 25% of lever travel. If the lever is adjusted too close to the bar the switch actuator may not operate the starter enable switch. Back off the adjuster a little, or build up the actuator. |
